Biography:

Brittany emphasizes mindfulness as the foundation of her yoga classes. She invites students to set intentions, invite acceptance for imperfections on and off the mat, become centered, and reduce stress.

Brittany is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and a practicing mental health therapist specializing in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. This background has given her thousands of hours of experience, centered around using mindfulness strategies to help others find relief from common issues like anxiety and depression.

Brittany has completed 500 hours of yoga teacher training with D’ana Baptiste at Centered City Yoga and graduated with 700 hours of yoga therapy training from Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy.

Yoga for Mental Health is a practice involving imagery, intention setting, mindfulness, breathing practices, and meditation techniques. 

This practice of self-compassion creates a safe space to accept emotions as they are, increases mental focus and clarity. It improves mood, connection with self and emotional balance.
